In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Linda was awarded Best in Show for Sculpture and Mixed Media for the Dallas Business Council Corporate Arts Competition. Linda’s work has been exhibited in numerous art shows and galleries throughout Texas including the Denton Art and Jazz Festival, Plaza of the Americas, the Cohn Drennan Contemporary Gallery, Muzeion Gallery, Fort Worth Music Festival, Huffhines Art Trails, the American Airlines Center, Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau, LuminArte Gallery, Flower Mound Independence Festival, McKinney Arts in Bloom and Dickens of a Christmas, the Artist Showplace, the Lewisville Grand Theater, Oxide Gallery and Premier Gallery events. Linda was selected to participate in the Super Bowl ArtBowl, Cloud 9 Art Gala, ArtQuest, the Love for Kids Palette to Palate event, the Champions for Children’s Advocacy Gala, Empty Bowls Charity events, ArtOfficial and the Cross Timbers Artist Guild Tour.
Linda’s copper art is featured in the 2012 and 2013 Dallas Fine Art Engagement Calendars. She is a member of the Texas Sculpture Association, the Visual Arts Society of Texas, Texas Visual Arts Association, Lewisville Visual Arts League, Cross Timbers Artist Guild, the Grapevine Art Project, the McKinney Avenue Contemporary, the Texas Women's Caucus for Art, the Plano Art Association and the McKinney Art and Music Guild. Linda was the featured artist at Art House in Southlake and was named a People's Choice Winner at the the Flower Mound Independence Festival. Linda has received several awards from the Texas Visual Arts Association, the Visual Art League of Lewisville, the Texas Sculptor Association as well as the Visual Art Society of Texas. Linda’s art was highlighted in a solo art show at the MLC Grand Theater in Lewisville and was the featured artist at the Palace Arts Center in the Lancaster Theater in Grapevine. She was selected for membership in the Art Professionals of Texas and was recently appointed to the Highland Village Public Art Advisory Board.
